A Gift of an Angel/ Angel of music

You must be thinking why do i call my title/cd's A Gift of An Angel? I'll explain why, It took me about 4 years to think of this title! Until one day i knew why!

When i first started singing from the age of 7, i would always perform in front of my whole family and they would tell me how wonderful my singing was, and what they said to me is a GIFT and from this day when i perform to people of all ages they still say the same thing.
When i sadly lost my gran and my mother it was very hard for me. Before my gran passed away she taught me how to sing I dreamed A Dream ( Les Miserables) and she played it on the piano beautifully. I would stand behind her and i would sing it i would always remember her saying how nice it was to sing it beside her. It was the same with my mother but instead i sang Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again (Phantom of the Opera). Again she played the song beautifully on the piano, again my mother said how lovely it was being able to sing it beside her.
However every time i sing these songs i can feel their presents, and i think im singing to them the ANGELS and every time i think of them i sing these songs (through the Angel of Music)

X Factor - and more

I auditioned for the X Factor quite a while ago now for the next series of 2006. What a day to remember, how can I forget!!
Well Dad drove me up, it was on a Saturday (I had the day off work especially, all the staff in Woolworths where I work, gave me a lot of support and gave me a lovely card signed by all of them!) I loved it, I knew I had to have all the supprot I could get . I Brought my auntie and my cousin with me for moral support. I had to que up for three whole hours, my feet were hurting me like anything, but not just that it was absolutley pouring down with rain. I was soaked to the bone, luckily enough my auntie had an unbrella.(Next day, i had an awful cold for weeks!!) After 3 long painful hours standing in the rain, I was finally inside. I had to que to get my sticker number then I had to go in the waiting area with the other 7,000. There was loads of people, it was incrediable. I waited a very long time, I was near enough last on still I knew it would be worth it. When I sat in there, there was video cameras everywhere. The producers were going round each and every corner videoing almost everyone, and asking them questions like is this your first time singing live etc! They didn't come on to me, unfortunately there was so many people, I dont think they would of managed to film us all, however one time the cameras were facing in my direction when the producers interviewed this guy! I thought act natural, I might be on tv. After hours on end, I was up
for the first time in my life I was shaking like a leaf. Unfortunatley Simon Cowell, Sharon Ozbourne and Louis Walsh was not there because they were doing Celebrity X Factor at the time, therfore I ended up singing infront of the producers. Well I gave it my all, I sang Cant Help Lovin Dat Man Of Mine from Show Boat! Unfortunately I didn't make it through, however I can always try again next year. All I got to remember is that it all comes with experience. I have had a few let downs and I can prove people wrong. I am not going to give up, this is just the beginning. I knew that if the panel were there that day, I reckon I would of got through, how do I know? Well a couple of weeks ago on the X Factor and girl sang Time To Say Goodbye, well she had an unusal voice which people say to me. Well who knows!! I will try again next year and thats not all. I have already applied already for the next series of How To Solve The Problem Like Maria with Graham Norton ITV , and Brian Conolly's Let Me Entertain You BBC2. So look out guys, I need your votes .

Welcome to my site!

Singing on the Legend of the Seas – Royal Caribbean

Singing on the
Legend of the Seas – Royal Caribbean

This is the picture of the cruise I sang on, isn't it beautiful?
One of my biggest achievements was on holiday with the fantastic
Legend of the Seas, Royal Caribbean 2nd August 2006 where I entered myself Into an adult talent competition, on the main stage

I sang one of my favourite songs of all time, Wishing You Were Somehow Here again from the
Phantom of the Opera. I sang this song in dedication to my mother who recently passed away last year, the song was played at the funeral with my other song I Dreamed a Dream and every time I sing these songs I think of her and I think how proud she would be, if she was here now.
The applause I had after my song was amazing, and also receiving another trophy which was fantastic, I was so happy. One Thing I wasn’t expecting was the Adult Talent Competition Was recorded live, which was then broadcasted live on the ship for 48 hours. From the day I sang prior to going home, people from all over the ship commented how wonderful my voice was and I felt very proud and honoured by this.
