"Im Spinning Around "

Where do i start. I have been accepted for this years talent show of the X Factor again and this has caused problems where by i have an important exam coming up! I will try my hardest to re arrange another slot time if i can to get seen. Its always been a down point for me because every time i auditioned for talent shows its always seems to clash with exams and it kind of gets in the way. No matter how hard i want to fulfil my dreams and im going to !!

I Swear Britains Got Talent Is Fixed !!

I swear Britains Got Talent is fixed.! This time last year i auditioned for this show unfortunately i never got to sing in front of Simon Cowell and now i wish i did.
After last weeks episode of Britains Got Talent i was shocked and admazed that one of my songs was sang "I Dreamed A Dream" by Susan Boyle, now dont get me wrong she has a wonderful voice but i was gobsmacked the fact that the song she sung has got her through and i auditioned for the same song last year ! If she got through and i didnt i swear the show is Fixed !!
With any luck i am still striving forward and im not going to give up hope.

Even though i am applying almost everywhere within my singing career i am also going to try for Hollywood, who knows if i dont try. Tried around England and now i feel i need to try further up field. I am definately not going to give up im going all the way.

Florida v Vegas

If i had a dream to sing between Florida and Vegas it would be Vegas.
My parents told me several years ago that i could of been half British half American, Since my father had a permenant job, sadly my mothers dad fell ill so stayed home which was completely understandable. I miss Florida lots and hopefully will be there xmas if not a back up plan has been made to cruise around instead. Ive read inside the vegas books and i was surprised that one of me idols sings there (Celion Dion), if i made it big out there id just die !!

Here & Now 2009

With the sad loss of my mother and my Gran and close friends singing has kind of been in the back burner. They say that time can be a great healer but im not so sure!! Stress has been unbearable and keeping my site updated is pretty hard going. An awful lot has gone on in my life and i hope things from now will get better and not for the worst.
As for my singing well i am still going and still applying for every alternative talent show on TV. Its my ultimate dream to make it one day, i try my hardest to write away to every possible record company.

Now have my own spots in Annabels now and still waiting for that dream. Friends and family tell me never to give up and i never will. I have so much support now its brilliant.
X factor again is coming up and hopefully soon i will meet up with a STAR ! Which i am longing for, i had that opportunity before maybe i might just be lucky again.

Just The Beginning !!!

Hiya Guys!
A while ago i mentioned that i would be partisapating in a christmas show with the city of plymouth players. Well unfortunatley due to the amount of work i have to put in to my final year is crazy, so i will not be taking part this year. However coming up i will be singing in an elderly people's home which is what i am looking forward to.
its just the beginning !!!

Want some up to date info? want some gossip? Well here goes - Recently i have just an application form come through from BBC 2's Let Me Entertain You with Brian Connally. I am absolutley thrilled. Again the audition is up in Bristol!! Its going to require a lot of hard work, and this is only the beginning !!

Dreams of being a Director in theatre at last !!

My dreams are coming true slowly. I have always wanted to direct a show of my own and now im about to fulfil my dreams. I have always wanted the experience of directing within theatre and now i am. Next year on the September the 13th, 14th and the 15th i am launching a "Back To The Movies" production in aid of Breast Cancer research. This is one charity that i do support and i feel proud and honoured to raise such a worthy charity.
Movies included will be Moulin Rouge, Fame, Grease, The Full Monty, Dirty Dancing and many more! Hopefully it will be up and running any day now!! I will be taking on a few roles myself, however i am really looking forward to it.

Also Coming up this year on Christmas of 2006 i will be getting involved with another christmas production with the City Of Plymouth Players in Plymouth which I am very looking to.

Also I have been asked to sing in an elderly people's home during christmas, so i am absolutely thrilled to be taking this on.

UPDATE'S

I had a wonderful gift for my birthday not long ago. It was a professional sound system, with speakers, and a sound mixer, plus a new microphone. I was absolutely thrilled! It wasn't long before I knew I was called to sing at an elderly home for Christmas 2006 !

Also coming up I will be involved with a christmas show which will be held at the Devonport Play House which will commence I believe the 5 to the 9th December 2006. (Plymouth)

I got involved with a christmas show last year with the DevonPort Playhouse and turned out to be a complete success where I sang a duet Once In Royal David's City. How can I forget and I do believe that this was the last show that my mother saw me in.

I feel On Top Of The World. I have so many opportunities going for me at the moment and I am going to take every opportunity I can. I think one thing that will be missing this year will be my mother, my gran, my grandad however they are treasured in my hearts forever. There was someone else this guy I met on the cruise, he was lovely and so pleasant. Kat says : " if you want something in life, work hard and you will get there, believe in yourselves. Life is to short, make the most of what you can and if you want something go for it before its to late".

Outside of Performing

Outside of performing I usually tend to get my mind focused on my essays, its an important year for me this year, it's my last year and I want to be successful within Theatre, singing, dancing, television etc. Im very dedicated to my work and try to do well. Not only do I want to make myself proud but I want to do it for my mother also. I know she would be very proud of me right now.

My life Story within performing

My life within theatre began when I was just three years. I started off dancing from a very early age, where I did tap, ballet and modern. Gaining merits and distinctions!! From the age of 7 I started to sing, and my family thought I could go a long way. From 13 years old I gave up dancing and tried to make myself known by singing. When I was at school I studied Performing Arts and Music and came out with a very successful result, from school I went straight to College and studied Performing Arts all over again reaching merits and distinctions. So from 13 years old to the present I belong to loads of theatre companies, i.e. TouchWood Productions where I have been in shows such as Opening Night - extracts from Joseph & his Admazing Technicolour Dream Coat and load more, Frankenstein - as a St. Trinian Girl(Ethel Ready), All at sea where I played Mrs Pott - Beauty and the Beast, Titanic - My heart Will Go On (Celione Dion), Snow White as a Posh Lady, Ali Baba as a Posh Lady Carmienians did an extract in Martyn Guerre, Gilbert & Sullivan, Opera South West- Orpheus In The Underworld - a prostitute, and singing, City of Plymouth Players- Little Me where I a bank manager, and a Christmas special - singing Once In Royal David's City and many more songs/performances. It wasn't long before I had the best present yet! It was to have private singing lessons. I was absolutely thrilled, I have been with my singing teacher now for a very long time I cant think when I started. I have always wanted to follow my footsteps into my favourites artists such as Ruthie Henshall, Sarah Brightman, Leslie Garrett, Micheal Ball,Russell Watson, and Micheal Crawford. Now im trained to sing musicals and Opera which is what I always wanted. There was one time when I sang at a concert and I remember a gentleman wanted to speak to me. He offered me a placement to go to London to the Royal Opera House where Leslie Garrett went. I was thrilled but unfortunately when my mother sadly passed away I had to stay home. However the option is always there for me, so who knows what the future may hold!!
I also sang with the Theatre Royal Company Voices which was another experience I will never forget.
Now I am currently studing a joint BA Honours in Drama and Media studies, which I enjoy very much I have learnt so much and continue to do so.
